Mr. Shreekrishna Mulmi

Deputy Director

Shreekrishna Mulmi is the Deputy Director of National Judicial Academy, Nepal. He is also an Editor-in-Chief of NJA Law Journal. Mr. Mulmi has earned LL.M. in International Human Rights (2008/09) from University of Hong Kong and LL. M. in Criminal and Corporate Laws (2002 - 2004) from University of Pune, India. As Deputy Director, he directs and undertakes research activities, coordinates training and prepares training manual and materials including coordination with justice sector organizations for the training and research programs. He has also experiences in coordinating international/regional conferences in the field of law and justice. He has involved in a number of research programs undertaken by NJA Nepal and other institutes in Nepal. He has published more than a dozen of research articles and book chapters in a number of books, journals, periodicals and resource materials in and outside Nepal. As a scholar, Mr. Mulmi has participated in many international conferences including the 7th International Conference on the Training of the Judiciary which was organized by International Organization for Judicial Training (IOJT) held on November 8 -12, 2016 in Recife, Brazil. He has expertise on judicial education, human rights, fair trial, social inclusion and social justice issues. He also led training sessions on humanitarian law and international criminal law, gender justice, juvenile justice, access to justice, domestic violence mediation, among others.

 Mr. Rajan Kumar KC, having his MBA degree in Human Resource Management holds an immense knowledge and expertise of various law related project activities, supported by international development agencies as well as donor organizations.

He started his career as an Accounts Officer of Center for Legal Research and Resource Development (CeLRRd) on 1998. He has meticulous writing and editing skills, competency on handling projects, making records and rendering technical inputs. He has been working in the field of law and justice and much aware of laws, justice mechanism and judicial system of Nepal too. This adds value to his knowledge of management ground and also justifies to his diversified personality.

Since 2008, Mr. Rajan entered to NJA-Nepal as a Business Development Manager (BDM). Under his capacity of a BDM, he gained extensive experience on preparing and submitting Project Proposals, Concept Notes, ToRs, LoAs, MoA and MoUs for partner organizations egs. UNICEF Nepal, USAID/ TAF, The Embassy of Denmark, UN WOMEN (then UNIFEM), DanidaHUGOU, ILO/IPEC, Nepal, University of OSLO, Norway, DFID/ESP, APT- Switzerland, Save the Children Norway, EU, ICJ Nepal, ILF, The Daywalka Foundation, WORLD BANK, CMP II European Commission, IA, UNFPA, A to J/RoLHR-UNDP, CTED/Global Center, OPDAT, CRR and agencies of Government of Nepal.

He stands as a focal person for the program implementation of the partnership program. As a BDM he directs and undertakes research activities, coordinates training and prepares training manual and materials including coordination with justice sector organizations for the training and research programs. Some of the finest researches of NJA he involved in are (Study on Women’s Access to Justice, Restorative Justice, Transitional Justice, Anti- Money Laundering and GESI). His contribution to trainings in NJA on the subjects of human resource management and juvenile justice, gender justice (Right to privacy) and Combating Human Trafficking are truly appreciable.
