Shreekrishna Mulmi is a Director of the Research and Development Department at National Judicial Academy, Nepal (NJA-Nepal). He has earned LL.M. in International Human Rights Law (2008/09) from University of Hong Kong and in Criminal and Corporate Laws (2002 - 2004) from the University of Pune, India. He joined NJA-Nepal as Research Officer in 2005. Before joining at NJA-Nepal, he used to practice law as an Advocate (License No 6790, 2056 BS) in different courts in Kathmandu. As a Director at NJA-Nepal, he directs/coordinates/undertakes research and training activities and prepares training manuals and materials including coordination with justice sector organizations for training and research programs. He also supervises activities carried out by other subordinate officers, staff, interns etc. at NJA-Nepal. He has also the experiences in coordinating international/regional conferences in the field of law and justice. He involves in a number of research programs undertaken by NJA-Nepal and other institutes in Nepal. He also edits other publications of the NJA Nepal. He has published more than a dozen research articles and book chapters published in Nepal and abroad. He worked as Editor-in-Chief and Editor of the NJA Law Journal, published by the NJA-Nepal, for 15 years. As a scholar, Mr. Mulmi had participated and presented papers in many international conferences including the 7th and 8th International Conferences on the Training of the Judiciary, and the both were organized by International Organization for Judicial Training (IOJT) respectively in 2015 in Recife, Brazil and in 2017 in Manila, Philippines. He also has experiences of working as Panel of Judges in different moot court competitions conducted by ICRC and other institutions. He possesses expertise in commercial law, human rights law, humanitarian law, criminal law, civil law, judicial education, fair trial, international criminal law, gender justice, juvenile justice, access to justice, domestic violence, social inclusion and other social justice issues etc.
